Þpartment Environmental Services Job Summary Job Summary and Responsibilities: The Hospitality Supervisor-Venice has accountability and oversight, and supervises the daily activities of the department, shift or area for Venice Hospital. Hospitality areas may include environmental services, patient transportation, and linen services. In this role, the leader sets the tone and models positive leadership behavior, while ensuring individual and teamwork tasks, projects, and responsibilities are completed successfully in support of departmental and organizational goals. Key Responsibilities: Oversee daily operations of the hospitality teams to include environmental services, patient transportation and linen services to ensure a seamless patient experience. Train, mentor, and manage staff to uphold the highest standards of service. Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization of the hospitality areas. Qualifications: Requires an associate degree (AA/AS). Relevant experience in Hospitality Services in a healthcare setting can be substituted on a year-for-year basis for the required degree. Requires five (5) years of related Hospitality/ Customer Service experience, preferably in a healthcare setting, with a minimum of two (2) years of lead or supervisor experience. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Preferred License and Certs Prefer the ability to balance multiple priorities in a demanding environment with responsibility for multi-skilled positions. Prefer ability to direct, control, and coordinate activities of assigned personnel. Prefer operating knowledge of related systems, including Tele-tracking (bed tracking, Transport tracking).
