Sequoyah High School is a 9-12 choice school located in Soddy Daisy, TN. Our school is focused on providing students with the skills, training, and industry certifications necessary to leave high school prepared to enter the workforce and/or post-secondary education. At Sequoyah, students from across Hamilton County can choose to attend and participate in a specific program of study. We are a small learning community with a supportive school team. We are looking for teachers who have a sense of community, who are creative, and who look for unique ways to engage students in non-traditional ways. Responsibilities Teaching & Learning - Deeply understand the Tennessee English Language Arts Standards and establish clear learning targets for every lesson. Build rigorous and aligned assessments and consistently implement high leverage literacy practices. Compensation Salary is based on a combination of relevant education and experience. Salary Scale This position may be eligible for an increase in total compensation.
