We are looking for an Events Coordinator to join our friendly, busy team to support the project coordination and event management of the training services we offer, which comprise of in-person workshops and webinars for researchers around the world. This is a great opportunity for a new graduate with a highly organised mind set to join an exciting industry and gain some key events and operations skills

Responsibilities:
Working with the Senior Events & Operations Manager and Senior Events Coordinator to ensure the smooth running of all training events.
Regular communication and coordination with international sales teams, project coordinators and freelance webinar facilitators
Recruiting and on-boarding editors from the Nature Portfolio to deliver the training
Organising the agenda, slides and workbooks for each event based on the needs of the clients
Liaising with the Design Team to plan and produce accurate and professional material for each workshop, including proof reading and sign off
Creating and analysing participant feedback forms and writing reports
Managing and processing editor payments
Organising international travel and working with local teams to arrange travel/accommodation logistics
Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
Ability to manage competing priorities and meet tight deadlines
A strong written and verbal communicator
Enjoys working as part of a team
Strong organisational skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Good attention to detail
An undergraduate degree
The successful candidate will be provided with a strong virtual on-boarding and we are currently working remotely at Springer Nature in the UK.
When it is safe to return to the offices a Global Working from Home Policy will be introduced which will be discussed during interviews.
