Events Content Producer - £50,000 - £60,000 per annum - 6months + - London

My Client is a global research and consultancy business powering the natural resources industry. They have nearly 50 years of experience, offering quality insights to a diverse range of customers.

This is a mat cover role, but with growing demand, may well turn to perm as they look to expand the team.

The Event Content Producer will be responsible for developing programmes and speaker line ups for the company's in-person and virtual event products, with input from the research, sales and marketing teams, as well as senior industry executives.
The position reports into the Senior Manager of Event Content Production.

Some core responsibilities include:

- Managing external and internal speaker relationships and logistics, crafting
marketing copy, supporting lead generation and guiding the sponsorship sales strategy and developing copy for marketing materials.
- Managing speaker relations for each event: Initial outreach and confirmation, on-going logistical communication, PPT collection and review, onsite speaker management.
-Staying constantly up to date on the latest energy news and internal research publications, to update the established conferences year on year and suggest any new topic areas that should be covered.
- Collaborating with the event project team by supporting operations, marketing, sponsorship sales and telesales on event strategies.
- Assisting the sponsorship team to ensure suitable sponsors are identified and targeted appropriately.
- Working closely with the event operations team to ensure operational requirements of the events are met.
- Building strong relationships with the Brand teams to ensure the conference programmes align with the brands values and key messages.
- Sharing responsibility for the commercial success of the program including accurate and timely budgeting and reconciliation of events.
- Responsibility for the execution of all conference sessions, ensuring excellent delivery smooth running on the day and providing live content deliverables for marketing.

What my client is looking for from applicants:

- Experience in a commercial Conference Producer role .
- Experience in conducting in-depth desk research, phone and face-to-face interviews to scope out markets and topics.
- Highly developed communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships and informal networks.
- Advanced writing, editing and proofreading skills in English
- The ability to manage multiple stakeholders and work across teams to ensure the success of the event.
- Proactive and enthusiastic, with a professional and can-do attitude
- Experience driving the content and creative development process with timely and deliberate feedback to operations and marketing in needs for delivery.
- Ability to work with a project plan, keep teams updated and drive project progress.
