
The Risk team is currently looking to recruit an Enterprise Risk Manager.
The Risk Team at Wellcome provides professional guidance, advice, and support in respect of risk and risk management to everyone working within the organisation in support of the delivery of our mission. This includes the development and delivery of the corporate risk management framework, insurance programme and business continuity arrangements.
You will:
Work in partnership with multiple departments facilitating a proactive risk management culture and methodology.
Design and delivery of the corporate and departmental risk management processes, including the creation and update of the Corporate Risk Register and other risk reporting documentation. This involves working with the Executive Leadership team, departmental Risk Champions, Programme Management Office and other personnel as required.
Provision of risk management expertise to major projects and challenge areas.
Engage proactively on emerging risks across the organisation and ensure a coordinated and effective response from business owners. This response will include reports to Wellcome's management and committees, as appropriate.
Training and workshops to facilitate ongoing embedding of risk management culture.
Liaison with the risk managers at Wellcome subsidiaries in support of their own corporate risk management programmes.
Assist with the operational and investment property insurance programme.
Assist managing the business continuity programme for Wellcome.
Skills and Experience:
Appropriate qualifications and enterprise risk management experience.
Deep understanding of non-financial risk and control frameworks.
The ability to be think outside the box on how to improve the efficiency of processes and procedures.
Active membership of relevant risk management fora.
