A career within Functional and Industry Technologies services will provide you with the opportunity to build secure and new digital experiences for customers, employees, and suppliers. Job Requirements and Preferences:

Basic Qualifications:

Minimum Degree Required:
Bachelor Degree

Minimum Years of Experience:
5 year(s) with at least 2 years in Duck Creek Claims experience

Preferred Qualifications:

Certification(s) Preferred:

Education, certifications and/or experience in Duck Creek Claims.  

AICPCU Certifications:

  • Chartered Property & Casualty Underwriter (CPCU)
  • Associate in Risk Management (ARM)
  • Associate in Claims (AIC), Associate in Underwriting (AU)
  • Associate in Reinsurance (ARe)
  • Associate in Insurance (AINS)
  • Certified Business Analyst (CBAP) and/or Certification of Competency in Business Analysis (CCBA)

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in managing system implementation and/or upgrade projects related to and/or leveraging Duck Creek Claims and related technologies.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in insurance business applications such as:

  • All components of Duck Creek Claims (e.g. FNOL, Financials, Forms and Correspondence, Claims Studio);
  • Duck Creek Party;
  • Duck Creek Insights;
  • APIs;
  • Claims-related internal tools (e.g. data conversion);
  • Third party solution providers (e.g. estimating, medical management, payment);
  • Enterprise data warehouse; and
  • Document management systems.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in identifying and addressing client needs by:

  • Building impactful relationships with clients;
  • Developing an awareness of Firm services;
  • Communicating with the client in an organized and knowledgeable manner;
  • Delivering clear requests for information;
  • Demonstrating flexibility in prioritizing and completing tasks; and
  • Communicating potential conflicts to a supervisor.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or proven track record in property and casualty insurance such as:

  • Personal Lines;
  • Commercial Lines;
  • Specialty Lines;
  • Agency and direct support models; and,
  • Advisory (ISO/NCCI/AAIS) agencies, regulatory and compliance agencies.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team member by:

  • Understanding personal and team roles;
  • Contributing to a positive working environment by building collaborative relationships with team members;
  • Seeking guidance, clarification and feedback proactively; and,
  • Providing guidance, clarification and feedback to less experienced staff.

Demonstrates extensive abilities and/or a proven record of success in creative thinking and problem solving skills, individual initiative and the following abilities, leveraging technologies appropriately to accomplish:

  • Communicating in an organized and knowledgeable manner in written and verbal formats including delivering clear requests for information and communicating potential conflicts;
  • Managing teams and/or workstreams on an engagements, staying educated on current trends and assisting in the development of knowledge capital;
  • Collaborating with business development teams responsible for writing and presenting proposals to prospective clients;
