Responsibilities Job Summary The Quality & Risk Director will lead and direct the operational quality and risk activities and programs with internal teams, practices, payers, and other partners for various contracted payers including Medicare, Medicare Advantage, commercial, and other payers. The Quality & Risk Director will work with ICP's leadership and teams to develop the operational goals and strategies to foster improved quality and risk performance and outcomes with providers-practices and payers Leads and directs the quality and risk initiatives working with internal teams, practices, and payers to capture measures and perform associated analyses and reporting. Develops and delivers quality and risk education and communications to internal teams, practices, and providers. Performs analyses and reporting for ICP’s quality, risk, outcomes, and performance. Develops and manages ICP’s risk strategy for solutions and operational activities to improve Risk Adjustment Factor (RAF) scores and associated shared savings opportunities Leads the Quality & Risk team and ensures adequate staffing levels, inclusive of hiring/onboarding, evaluating, managing performance, coaching and developing employees ensuring employee productivity, quality of work, and alignment of goals with our mission, vision, and values. Ensures compliance with all policies, financial stewardship by being accountable for the financial integrity of the team’s budget. Implements ICPs vision for Quality and Risk functions while contributing to the development of new quality & risk strategies for ICP. Provides leadership and guidance with payers and other entities to understand and monitor ongoing regulations and requirements related to quality and risk contracts and programs. Acts in an advisory capacity with billing-coding staff and providers at practices to recommend coding and compliance updates and opportunities Communicates and collaborates with other departments in managing day-to-day aspects of projects, identifying resources needed and choosing the most efficient method of data extraction and analysis. Performs other duties as assigned. Qualifications Education Bachelor's Degree or equivalent professional experience In related field or equivalent professional work experience Required Experience 5 years related experience in quality and risk management and billing & coding experience Required
