The Director of Sales is responsible for the development and performance of all sales activities for SOLitude Lake Management. They staff and direct sales teams and provide leadership toward the achievement of maximum profitability and growth, in line with company vision and values. In addition, they establish sales plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contribute to the development of training and educational programs for Regional Sales Managers, Business Development Consultants, Sales Support and Inside Sales of SOLitude Lake Management. Essential Functions: Facilitate weekly one-on-one debriefs with all Regional Sales Managers and Business Development Managers to build more effective communication, to understand training and development needs, and to provide insight for the improvement of sales activity performance Using Sales KPI’s, ensure that all sales divisions meet or exceed all activity standards for prospecting calls, appointments and proposals Conduct field rides and skip level meetings to coach, develop and improve sales skills Assist in preparation of proposals and presentations on high level opportunities Lead productive weekly sales meetings and sales training meetings focused on skill development and improving performance Set a strong example in areas of personal character, commitment, organizational and selling skills, and work habits Annually, develop a Sales Plan that supports the growth of the business. What do you need? High school diploma/GED Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent combination of experience, education and training Preferably 5-10 years sales leadership experience in a hunting capacity Five or more years of related experience. Proven history developing sales colleagues and sales managers Strong business acumen with background in management, sales, training, relationship development and/or excellent customer experience Experience in multi-step distribution sales channel Experience analyzing financial reports, in a complex, fast-paced environment Available to travel as needed (70% or more) Working knowledge of Salesforce.com Valid driver’s license/clean driving record Must pass pre-employment background screen Qualifications Why Choose Rentokil?
