Overview Design, implement, and manage comprehensive public affairs campaigns for a fortune 200 company with some of the most iconic brands! Have a bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Public Relations, or a related field? Have eight years’ experience in political campaign management and public relations? If so, we want to speak with you! We are seeking a highly skilled Director, Public Affairs and Public Policy to join our Government Affairs team. Must be willing to travel as needed, approximately up to 30-40%. This role involves designing, implementing, and managing comprehensive public affairs campaigns across all channels and platforms, developing tailored messaging, supporting legislative strategies, collaborating with external partners, staying updated on best practices and technologies, and monitoring and evaluating campaign progress. The goal is to effectively address public policy issues in support of our Vision and optimize campaign results through data-driven decision-making. What you’ll be doing: • Design, implement, and manage comprehensive public affairs campaigns across all channels and platforms, including earned and paid media, activations, grassroots, and grass tops engagement. • Develop and refine effective public policy advocacy and messages in support of our public policy objectives. • Support federal and state Government Affairs teams in their legislative and policy strategies and engagements.. • Lead and collaborate with external partners to develop innovative campaign tools and programs. • Keep abreast of the latest campaign best practices and technologies, ensuring our strategies remain competitive and effective. • Monitor, evaluate, and report on campaign progress, effectiveness, compliance, and outcomes, making data-driven decisions to optimize results. What we want you to have: • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, Political Science or related field. • 12+ years of meaningful work experience with 8 years’ experience in political or public affairs campaign management and public relations. • Strong understanding of media relations and digital marketing strategies. • Exceptional leadership, communication, and strategic thinking skills. • Proven experience in the political, legislative or public policy process. • Ability to travel up to 30-40% In addition to the opportunity to apply and develop your skills toward key business objectives, we offer an excellent compensation package including a competitive base salary, comprehensive health/vision/dental insurance, participation in our deferred profit sharing and incentive compensation programs as well as a relocation assistance package.
