Responsibilities As our new Director for Global Offshore CPX & Service Tools, you will lead our team at the Tools & Warehouse location in Esbjerg, consisting of 100+ employees, while partnering closely across the value chain to enable safe, efficient, and scalable offshore execution.
This role brings together strategic direction, operational excellence, and expertise in warehouse and logistics, while promoting an inclusive and empowering team culture. The purpose is to ensure that the right tools are responsibly sourced, qualified, and available-on time and at the right cost-to support our entire Offshore footprint.
In this role, you will:
- Establish, oversee, and continuously update the global offshore tooling strategy, including standards, frameworks, and long-term roadmaps aligned with Vestas' demand
- Oversee operational excellence in tooling warehouses and offshore focused logistics
- Optimise end to end planning, availability, utilisation, inventory, and lifecycle management of offshore tooling assets
- Drive global technical support and quality assurance for offshore construction and service tools
- Establish budgets, savings targets, and performance KPIs, ensuring strong governance across safety, quality, delivery, cost, and availability
- Develop and implement cost out, efficiency, standardisation, and scalability initiatives across regions and platforms
- Identify and mitigate end-to-end business risks, while partnering closely with Procurement, Construction & Service, HSE, Quality, Finance, and other key stakeholders to align priorities and enable value creation
Qualifications We expect that you bring:
- 8+ years of experience in tooling, industrial operations, or warehouse and logistics environments, with a solid understanding of end to end operational processes
- Over eight years leading teams within a complex, matrixed organisation, cultivating an inclusive, empowering, and collaborative team culture
- Solid commercial awareness, including experience with budgeting, service-level agreements, and business case development, as well as proficiency with ERP/BI systems (e.g., SAP, BI) and Microsoft 365 tools
- Proficiency in English and Danish, both written and verbal; knowledge of additional languages is welcomed
- Demonstrated international leadership experience, with the ability to build effective relationships and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholders across diverse backgrounds and regions
- Experience or certification in Lean methodologies and continuous improvement is considered an important complement

Additional information This role is in Esbjerg, Denmark, and is designed to be performed primarily from our Esbjerg office. Moreover, for this role, you can expect up to 25 days of travel per year.
