Responsibilities JOIN OUR TEAM! Spring Mountain Treatment Center is currently seeking a dynamic professional to join our team as a Admissions Director. The Director of Intake and Admissions supports the purpose and procedure of the entire admission. Creates and maintains department procedures in the following areas: daily census records, inquiry calls and referrals phone log, and ensures that the level of treatment and clinical services is appropriate to all patients needs. ABOUT SPRING MOUNTAIN TREATMENT CENTER: Spring Mountain Behavioral Services has provided mental health services to the Las Vegas community since 2001, treating children, teens, adults and senior adults with behavioral health or addiction issues. We offer a supportive and healthy environment with 24-hour care that allows people of all ages to make positive changes in their lives. Our primary location, Spring Mountain Treatment Center, focuses on the stabilization of acute symptoms for patients age 5 to 65, along with select outpatient care programs for teens. Our secondary location, Spring Mountain Sahara, houses our Adult Outpatient and Senior Adult Inpatient programs. Spring Mountain Treatment Center is a 110-bed mental health facility that provides acute crisis stabilization services for adults, teens, and children in a secure inpatient setting. Our individualized treatment includes a structured, therapeutic environment, intensive physician involvement and oversight, and daily group and educational programs. Qualifications REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Ensures accurate information of daily census and potential admission information. Monitor and evaluates intake/admission information and evaluates insurance verification information. Acts as an administrative resource to provide in-depth training on how to handle inquiry calls and other concerns around the admission process to milieu transition for each patient. Attends administrative meetings to present critical information around census, benefit time lines, and review potential patients and program as if pertains to the admission process. Supervises the scheduling of clinical assessments and monitors for providing of appropriate disposition. Obtains and disseminates additional clinical information related to potential patient to appropriate staff for discussion of concerns and admission approval. Completes admission assessment in a timely manner and makes appropriate referrals for patients that are not clinically appropriate for admission to Spring Mountain. Actively participates in the daily functions of the Administrative team. Works with the Program Managers and other departments to ensure proper technical operations. Assumes the responsibility of coordinating transportation and transition to Spring Mountain. (i.e., arranges flights through travel agency) Supervises the positions of all the employees of the Intake department. Able to adjust department budget to any needed change. Demonstrates behavior that reflects favorably on hospitals and corporations public image. Demonstrates an understanding of department’s role in hospital’s mission and service delivery plan.
