This post is based in our Midlands & East of England region, working from one of our consultancy hubs or properties, wherever is geographically most convenient to the postholder. There will also be an opportunity to explore and agree a remote working arrangement which strike the right balance for you and the Trust.

The role will be part of the wider National Trust consultancy team, visiting and working flexibly across several properties in the Midlands & East of England. The role will be based at a local property or regional office with regular home working.
What you'll be doing
You’ll be accountable for providing consultancy support for Community Engagement and Participation across a wide range of urban and rural properties in Midlands & East of England. You will advise, coach and train colleagues to develop their knowledge, skills, confidence, and capability in partnership working, inclusion, community engagement and participation. As a regional consultant, you will support teams to develop and grow mutually beneficial relationships with local communities and partnership organisations.
Working alongside our People Business Partners for Volunteering & Community, you will play a key role in supporting priority projects and core programmes of work that build connections between our places and communities. You will advise and support others to create innovative approaches to community engagement and innovation, sharing internal and external best practice.
