Leak Testing Superintendent

The Leak Testing (LT) Superintendent is responsible for the safe, efficient and timely execution of sensitive leak testing of East and West process facilities prior to start-up of gas production.<br> <br> The responsibility of the LT Superintendent has two dimensions:<br> 1.    Onshore phase: Commit to safety programs, review and approval of Test Packs, pre-approval of Permit-to Works<br> 2.    Offshore phase: Lead for successful execution of the sensitive leak testing (in 3-3 rotation)<br> <br> The LT Superintendent shall drive on-site safety in all phases of leak testing and is responsible for the safety performance of leak testing contractor both occupational safety and process safety (systems under pressure, high energy volumes, trapped pressure, liquid nitrogen, etc.).<br> <br> The LT Superintendent has the obligation to improve methods, planning, Test Packs, processes, manning, equipment, etc. to prepare the delivery of a safe and optimized execution, impacting minimally on critical timeline. <br> <br> At all times, the LT Superintendent shall:<br> •    Demonstrate personal commitment to HSE Policy<br> •    Maintain awareness of and ensure compliance with all relevant Statutory and Company HSE standards<br> •    Actively participate in Company safety awareness and initiative schemes<br> In undertaking this role, the LT Superintendent shall:<br> •    Utilize best practices and apply lessons learned from previous projects<br> •    Liaise with experts within the wider clients entities<br> •    Ensure compliance to Quality and HSE requirements<br> •    Comply to company values and Golden Rules    <br> <br> Activities<br> Onshore phase<br> •    Commit and endorse leak testing HSE plan and safety programs<br> •    Optimize and endorse method statements and procedures<br> •    Support HAZID process<br> •    Proactively engage in leak test planning process<br> •    Support Readiness definition and tracking<br> •    Critically review and approval of Test Packs, including optimization of boundaries<br> •    Support implementation of corrective actions for carry-over leaks<br> •    Review and pre-approve Permits-to-Work pre-issued by Leak Testing contractor  <br> Offshore phase<br> •    Proactively engage Leak Testing contractor in high safety performance<br> •    Drive safety initiatives<br> •    Support incident investigation and reporting, if any<br> •    Drive safe onboarding of Leak Testing contractor personnel<br> •    Support Control-of-Work Lead in daily review and approval of Permits-to Work<br> •    Proactively engage Leak Testing contractor in effective performance<br> •    Day-to-day supervision of leak testing activities<br> •    Optimize manning on a running basis<br> •    Optimize equipment spread on a running basis<br> •    Comply to Management of Change requirements/procedure<br> •    Daily reporting<br> <br> Context and environment<br> The performance and delivery of the role is within the TRP.
