Owners Representative (Offshore)

<p><b>Overview / Responsibilities </b><br />

Wood is recruiting for a <b>Owners Representative (Offshore)</b> to join our team in Perth, Western Australia as part of its Operations APAC West business. This is an initial 12-month opportunity and anticipated to be an ongoing requirement.<br />
<br />
Wood delivers brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region&
39;s most prominent producers, actively supporting operations in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Kazakhstan.<br />
<br />
In this highly visible role, you will represent the owners&
39; interests on the asset, providing a physical form of verification to contractor activities and enabling a direct escalation path for issues requiring rapid decisions.<br />
<br />
Your scope and responsibilities will be:</p>

<ul>
<li>Providing key field offshore work-site interface with the Phase 1 Lead Contractor</li>
<li>Inputs to variation requests</li>
<li>Monitoring and reports on contractor performance / compliance</li>
<li>Providing updates to internal stakeholders on contractor performance and key risks</li>
<li>Acting as a point of escalation for operational matters</li>
<li>Monitoring and verifies all contractor activities conducted in the field</li>
<li>Ensuring work performed is in accordance with the agreed schedule and standards</li>
<li>Recommending adjustments to the schedule</li>
<li>Stopping work for areas of key concern</li>
<li>Inputing to contract verification requirements</li>
<li>Directing path from the asset location to the supporting technical team</li>
<li>An escalation path to the Manager - Operations Phase 1 for matters of concern</li>
</ul>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b><br />
<br />
<b>You must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to pass a &quot;base level&quot; security clearance. </b><br />
<br />
Suitably qualified in a relevant Engineering discipline from a recognised institution, ideally you will have a minimum of 10+ years of proven experience in a similar role in the Oil &amp;Gas Engineering / EPCM sector in Australia.<br />

<li>Be a holder or have ability to hold a required offshore survival certificates (i.e., BOSIET)</li>
<li>Have conducted verification and assurance activities against contractor deliverables</li>
<li>Have knowledge of Australian Offshore Oil &amp; Gas Regulations</li>
</ul>
