Looks for ways to introduce new technology to enhance company<br>profitability and productivity. Responsible for maintaining and incorporating new cost-effective solutions in<br>design through Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and Design Best Practices. Represents Saudi Aramco in<br>dealings with vendors, manufacturers and/or design firms where expert engineering advice in his/her expertise<br>is required.<br><br><b>Responsibilities</b><br><br>DUTY1 / effort % (020)<br>Provides expert advice and assistance to Company organizations, outside<br>vendors,<br>manufacturers, and design firms on matters relating to his/her area of<br>expertise.<br><br>DUTY2 / effort % (020)<br>Originates and carries out engineering studies to determine potential<br>problems and<br>remedies to existing problems, resolve complex technical problems,<br>increase revenue,<br>optimize processes, protect the environment, or improve safety.<br><br>DUTY3 / effort % (010)<br>Develops and maintains Saudi Aramco Engineering Standards and Design<br>Best Practices,<br>Design Manuals or other documentation to enhance company profitability,<br>safety and<br>productivity.<br><br>DUTY4 / effort % (010)<br>Evaluates and introduces new technologies to help the Company achieve<br>Best in Class<br>positions in the company business.<br><br>DUTY5 / effort % (010)<br>Reviews and evaluates the capabilities of vendors and contractors to<br>determine their<br>acceptability to perform major services to Saudi Aramco. Acts as<br>Aramco's representative<br>in dealings with vendors and manufacturers pertaining to his/her field<br>of experience.<br><br>DUTY6 / effort % (010)<br>Works on or with Task Forces assigned to investigate incidents or solve<br>specific problems.<br>Undertakes special assignments requiring extensive technical experience<br>and discretion<br>when dealing with outside organizations.<br><br>DUTY7 / effort % (010)<br>Promotes a learning environment and continuous development to improve<br>expert status within<br>his/her specialty. Acts as a mentor to junior engineers.
