Responsibilities River Oaks Hospital, located in metropolitan New Orleans, Louisiana, is a private psychiatric facility for adults, adolescents and children. Situated on a 14-acre campus, services are available at all levels of care (inpatient, day or partial hospitalization, outpatient, and intensive outpatient). River Oaks Hospital is seeking a dynamic and talented Dietary – Cook/Porter to assist and take direction from the Department Manager and work cooperatively with other personnel while maintaining a high level of quality service. This position is cross trained with duties of a Cook and a Porter in order to contribute to an interactive team environment. Ability to read, write and follow written instruction and recipes. Experience in preparing food in bulk quantities preferred. Previous experience, preferably in a hospital, hotel or other institutional setting. Ability to work with others in a team environment.
