Staff Compliance Engineer

Janssen Pharmaceutica (JPh) is part of Johnson & Johnson and is responsible for bringing innovative medicines towards patients throughout the world. Within the Engineering & Property Services (E&PS) department we are looking for a Compliance Engineer R&D and Central Utilities (CU). The mission of E&PS is to handle the infrastructure lifecycle in a reliable, balanced and efficient way, build an attractive workplace experience and share knowledge and expertise in the global Facilities organization. Key Responsibilities: Subject Matter Expert (SME) of the Commissioning & Qualification Process (C&Q): Take on process ownership for C&Q within E&PS in accordance with the JPh procedures (continuous improvement, optimization projects) When procedures with regard to C&Q are changed, ensure that these are followed accurately. Act as “Spokes person” for C&Q during inspections. Provides C&Q support in projects to build knowledge and to implement improvements in the process: Keep an overview of the projects within the R&D and CU area. Part of the project team when completing investment projects on facilities and utilities. Must take ownership for the C&Q related project results such as User Requirements, Project Qualification Plan, Impact Assessment, test protocols and test reports. Make the necessary changes in TrackWise (control of change - CoC). This includes coordination of the CoC process supplemented by writing and coordinating activities for the preparation / implementation of CoC related verification documents. Ensure that maintenance processes are carried out in line with the procedures and contribute to: Accurate files and installations according to the various legislations; A technical infrastructure that meets high quality and high operational reliability; Realistic execution time vs. acceptable operating budget. The activities of E&PS are spread over a wide number of buildings and locations with different requirements in the field of (animal) housing, pest control, cold monitoring, lab equipment and energy supply. Qualifications Qualifications Education: University/Bachelors Degree in Engineering or Equivalent. Experience and Skills: If enthusiastic and passionate are statements that would describe you, we are eager to get to know you! Required: A broad knowledge of energy & utilities, water systems, HVAC and compliance requirements (GxP). Theoretical and practical knowledge of commissioning and qualification. You work meticulously, are analytical and proactively look for solutions. You are comfortable working in a pressurised environment on a project basis as well as independently in the context of ambitious timelines. You can clearly motivate and document your balanced quality decision. Preferred: Familiar with working in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. Knowledge of CMMS system (eStream) and other Systems (e.g. TrackWise, ComplianceWire,...). Other: We expect you to have good written and oral communication skills, both in Dutch and English.
