The Role We are now recruiting the Senior Manager, Pricing, Reimbursement & HTA Manager, reporting to Governmental Affairs Lead, who will be accountable for planning and implementing market access strategies and tactics to support company's business objectives in Romania Key responsibilities Screen and monitor legislation in area of pricing, reimbursement, HEOR Analyze and identify and communicate potential impact on BMS portfolio, prepare business cases Integrate national legislation in the MA strategies and action plans for BMS products Execute the Health Technology Assessment processes and liaise with HTA bodies, includes reimbursement process Coordinate with HAM for each therapeutic area for potential BMS product reimbursement Map and profile the key stakeholders for each product Develop plans and strategies, implement and monitor action plans Develop pricing strategies by positioning the brand to meet stakeholder and commercial expectations Undertake pricing analysis for BMS & competition, manage the pricing approval process Collect and analyze outcomes research, health economics and budget impact data, and translate it into meaningful, relevant datasets Elaborates pricing declarations on behalf of BMS Romania. Manage budget and resource allocation for HEOR and market access projects Prepare market access strategies and tactics in support of relevant therapy areas and patient access to BMS innovative therapies, in close collaboration with other relevant functions (other Market Access, Medical Affairs, Commercial) Execute market access programmes in areas of relevance for the company Drive effective communication with relevant health care authorities, stakeholders, and trade associations Collaborate closely with regional and global colleagues from market access and other relevant functions to ensure alignment on strategies and actions Experience and Knowledge: University graduate, Master’s degree in relevant discipline preferred At least 3 years of experience in market access roles in the pharmaceutical industry/HCA, preferably in innovative pharma companies Experience in the business negotiations and group presentations. Able to demonstrate strong capabilities to work in a complex matrix structure with different function and brands/ indications Established relationships with key decision makers, health care legislative experience Experience in effectively and persuasively articulating complex issues to key decision makers Demonstrated ability to work across diverse cultural, social, political boundaries Excellent writing skills and communication skills Key Competencies Requirements Understanding the legislation applicable to pricing, reimbursement and HEOR Understanding of the current healthcare system in Romania including market access from NHIH down to the hospital/pharmacy Good knowledge of national health institutions, reimbursement decision-making processes and dynamics is a must have; at least a basic understanding of national health/pharmaceutical and market access environment Understanding of Bristol-Myers Squibb products and its priority business objectives Excellent interpersonal communication skills: ability to effectively influence both internal and external environment by conveying messages tailored to the relevant audience Good analytical skills and attention to detail Demonstrated ability to build relationships with external stakeholders, strong collaboration mindset Ability to keep a strong focus within a broad range of complex issues, deal with ambiguity and keep an enterprise mindset, Actively plays a critical role in the implementation of new projects, manages difficult situations, Mastery of verbal and written communication skills PC knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe) English language knowledge (spoken and written) What’s important to us Employees are expected to display the BMS Values, which move us toward our mission to discover, develop and deliver innovative medicines that help patients prevail over serious diseases: Passion: Our dedication to learning and excellence helps us to deliver exceptional results.
