Credit & Collections Specialist

What you will do: Responsible for pursuing debt on a portfolio of 250 customers based on geographical worldwide. Promptly take action on the collection tools reminders and optimize the utilization of the collection tools. Solving queries internally and externally related to outstanding invoices Assuming a proactive role in the collection , including negotiating payment plans and reporting any payment risks to management /relevant team. Ensuring compliance of credit collection policies and procedures . Reconciling complicated accounts that were escalated by the AR team Evaluating new credit requests and client credit checks & credit insurance checks. The decision of approving or denying any applications is to be communicated to Commercial promptly. Analyze and assess the financial statement and credit history of existing and potential customers. Provide recommendation and negotiate with commercial regarding customer payment terms and credit limits. Setting up new accounts in SAP customer and credit master file . Releasing SAP credit block timely and communicate promptly to commercial any credit hold decision. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or equivalent 3 years minimum experiences as a credit Analyst cum collectors in a multinational environment , preferably with worldwide geographical exposure. Strong communication skills (written and verbal) to manage worldwide customers. Ability to prioritize tasks & deal with problematic customers. System experience in SAP & collection software.
