Job Overview & Requirements
Do you thrive on making independent decisions, securing your ambitious goals, and running your own flow of production and procured materials? Then join our Smart Factory in Ringsted where you will contribute to our journey into the digital future. Welcome to the Supply Chain team We are 8 production planners and 1 supervisor with different nationalities. The daily pace is high, and so is our enthusiasm and team spirit. Each of us have our own flows of materials that we are responsible for, but we are good at pitching in when a teammate needs support. “Everyone here is passionate about reaching our goals and this makes us focused and supportive colleagues, where everyone is ready to lend a helping hand. Many colleagues have been with us for years because there is a big sense of loyalty and great possibilities to advance your career within the Schneider Electric group,” Søren Andersen, Supply Chain and Distribution Centre Manager, explains. Oversee your own flow of materials Your job will be to control the daily flows of materials and goods as they move from suppliers to our production and then further on to our customers. In this process, you will collaborate with all the different parties involved to ensure that you meet your KPIs and deadlines for production and deliveries. You will also help improve our processes by participating in project groups with suppliers or colleagues from your own and other teams at the factory or central functions in Europe depending on the project. An example of a project could be implementing new digital solutions within the supply chain flow or improving collaboration with external and internal business partners. Moreover, some of your main tasks will be to: - Assess whether there is a stock shortage or issues with the production line and change priorities accordingly, so we still meet our deadlines - Update and follow up on your daily KPIs - Follow up on suppliers to make sure that they deliver on time – and manage the replanning if they are unable to - Participate in development project groups and manage small projects yourself to implement more efficient and digitized ways of working Knowledge of supply chain and an interest in digitization You are energized by working within deadlines, and you embrace the fact that our priorities change all the time due to the nature of our work. We are very proud of our group of international colleagues and the diversity this brings, and we will expect you to share this enthusiasm for working in an inclusive environment. Professionally, we imagine that you: - Hold a BSc degree in supply chain management, production engineering or similar with emphasis on supply chain – and maybe you graduated recently - Have experience as supply chain planner, production planner or procurement specialist - Preferably have some experience from a supply chain department, but the specific industry is secondary - Have an interest for implementing new digital solutions in a production environment - Know your way around ERP (SAP will be a advantage, but not a requirement) systems and Microsoft Office, and you are curious about business warehouse systems - Speak and write English fluently – Danish is an advantage, but not a prerequisite Many career opportunities and focus on development At Schneider Electric, we want the best employees. That is why we do not compromise on education and personal development, and we work with targeted and structured educational plans from day 1. As our new flow controller, you will constantly develop your professional competencies while also focusing on your personal development. You will also join colleagues around the world in contributing to our commitment to redefine energy management and address the energy dilemma for a more sustainable planet. And we are already on our way – this year we were ranked as the world’s most sustainable company by the Corporate Knights magazine. Are you interested? Then submit your online application, your CV, and diplomas as soon as possible. We will process applications on a rolling basis. If you have any questions regarding the position, please contact Supply Chain and Distribution Centre Manager, Søren Andersen, on +45 2899 1537. We are looking forward to hearing from you.
