Engineering Systems Specialist

Wood is recruiting for an Engineering Systems Specialist to be based in Madrid<br />
<br />
Responsibilities:</p>

<p>&nbsp;</p>

<ul>
<li>Analysis, development and maintenance of applications, in the phases of analysis, design of database structures and programming. Interfacing with other commercial applications</li>
<li>Development and documentation of testing of &
39;in - house&
39; applications and interfacing with other applications</li>
<li>Documentation of &quot;in - house&quot; applications</li>
<li>Support and training for users of applications developed in the Company</li>
<li>Collaborate in the analysis, development and maintenance of &quot;engineering&quot; applications, in the phases of analysis, design of database structures and programming, providing support in the implementation and maintenance of Engineering and CAD / CAE applications, including user training</li>
<li>In the absence of the Engineering System Chief, support liaison with corporate IT services on issues related to the operation of the Engineering Systems or the development of the projects</li>
<li>To carry out any other work assigned to him / her by his / her immediate manager and / or functional manager</li>
<li>Internal relations with application users, Engineering Departments for the development of projects, and Corporate IT Services for the implementation and operation of applications</li>
<li>External relations with other Wood offices, Partner Engineering Companies and Support services from software manufacturers</li>

<b>Skills / Qualifications </b></p>
</p>

<ul>
<li>Certificate of Higher Education (FP Sup.) Industrial Design, Computer Science and Communications or similar, or Industrial Engineering Degree</li>
<li>At least 5 years of experience in development departments of engineering, refining, etc, companies</li>
<li>At least 3 years of experience in Oracle database design, web development and administration of Hexagon SmartPLANT Suite, AVEVA Software, etc</li>
<li>MS - Windows Server, Oracle RDB, SQL Server</li>
<li>CAD / CAE Systems Administration</li>
<li>Excellent knowledge of written and spoken Spanish and English</li>
<li>Valid European Work Permit is required</li>
</ul>
