It’s an opportunity to be part of something special! We are now looking for Data Scientist who will lead the organization to identify opportunities by leveraging data to drive business solutions. This role will provide YOU the opportunity to lead key activities to progress YOUR career. These responsibilities include some of the following: Connect and maximize the commercial value of all available external and internal data sources by engaging the LOC’s business stakeholders Work as the lead data strategist, identifying and integrating new datasets that can be leveraged and manage the overall process on a data driven approach and strategic analysis at all levels to support decision making in the organization Plan implementation of commercial analytics and business intelligence roadmap to drive better analytic insight and environment in primary and secondary data resource utilization Help upskill overall analytic capabilities of the organization Establish standard KPIs in collaboration with the functional experts and provide strong measurement and monitoring tools to track commercial and financial performance Mine and analyse data for trends and patterns, and interpret data with a clear objective in mind including identifying business opportunities, efficiencies and optimizing business strategies Develop custom data models and algorithms to apply to data sets. Implement analytical models into production by collaborating with regional and Tech teams Communicate analytic solutions to stakeholders and implement improvements as needed in the business operations. Why you? Basic Qualifications: We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals: Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Applied Mathematics, Analytics or related discipline Experience in data science Preferred Qualifications: If you have the following characteristics, it would be a plus: Proficiency with data mining, mathematics, and statistical analysis Advanced pattern recognition and predictive modeling experience Strong advanced skills in Excel, PowerPoint, Tableau, SQL, and programming languages (i.e., Java/Python, SAS) Comfort working in a dynamic, research-oriented group with several ongoing concurrent projects Why GSK Consumer Healthcare?
