Job Description S&P Global Market Intelligence The Role: Data Researcher I, Insurance Rates & Manuals As a Data Researcher I with the Insurance Rates & Manuals team, you will be responsible in creating and updating manuals, as well as gather important data points from raw files received from our file resource. Fact check and collect data from raw pdf files and transform it into a more conducive and valuable product for our clients. The Team: The Insurance Rates & Manuals team is responsible for researching and collecting data to create and update insurance manuals, provide vital data such as premium rates, line of business, insurance coverage etc. to our valued clients. We cater to the needs of both internal and external clients, who rely on our team in extracting, transferring and loading of data for their research or article production. Our teams’ global locations are in Florida, Ahmedabad and Manila. The Impact: The Rates & Manuals Team is currently in the final phase of building out Personal Passenger Auto and Home with estimated completion date of April 30, 2022. This position will play a critical role in completing this project while providing additional work force to the team in ensuring that daily deliverables are met. Work with a diverse group of people. Work in a prime location in Makati. Responsibilities: Build and update insurance manuals of top 10 insurance groups. You will carry out analysis in order to build or update insurance manuals Fact check data from raw pdf files Deliver expected output by meeting predefined individual and department level targets Collaborate with local and global counterparts to streamline the procedures to ensure the team is aligned on all the procedures, processes and practices. Support the team in completing projects and maintain daily tasks. Use lean method to improve work efficiency. What We’re Looking For: Basic Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in any field is acceptable. Fresh grads are welcome to apply. Keen attention to details with strong focus on data quality and accuracy With initiative and leadership aspirations Have strong research and analytical skills Strong Communication and good reading and comprehension skills Goal getter and with a positive attitude Ability to problem solve, think creatively and critically, adapt to a rapidly changing environment Strong desire to innovate and optimize processes Ability to work in a global setting Flexible to work in shifting schedules and render overtime when there is a business need 1pm-10pm shift but will have occasional nightshift after 6 months (8pm-4am) Knowledge about RPA & SQL is a plus but not required.
