As a Data Analytics Lead, you’ll have a significant impact on the growth of our business through solving business challenges via data & process analysis. Responsibilities The IT Business Operations team is looking for a Data Analytics Lead that is passionate about data engineering as well as data and process analysis to improve IT efficiency and effectiveness. You’ll be assigned to a team and work on current projects that analyze security, risk, and efficiency within the IT organization Identify gaps and drive implementation of solutions to resolve gaps Perform data quality audits and data hygiene checks The focus of the role Data Engineering Design and improve data engineering efforts to support business analytics Orchestrate data collection in an efficient and consistent manor Data & Process Analytics Utilize report findings to identify opportunities for improvement Propose ideas to increase audit & analysis efficiency Transform improvement ideas into projects & requirements Support the overall IT Business Operations team in their service to Solarians and other stakeholders Qualifications Ability to Design and implement ETL processes from a variety of sources (Databases, files, semi-structured and unstructured data, APIs) Strong analytical skills to resolve problems and think creatively (SQL, Python, other data investigation knowledge) Ability to leverage findings into business process re-engineering efforts Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with co-workers, managers, and clients Highly motivated to work independently and productively, with an aptitude to learn quickly Basic understanding of the software development life cycle from requirements gathering through implementation Organizational skills to prioritize and plan work, multi-task and meet schedules Ability to work in a virtual environment with remote colleagues utilizing virtual technologies Willingness to undertake assignments involving unfamiliar subjects
