Production Engineer

Innovating in the energy industry, we connect subsea and surface with industry leading technology.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>The Production Engineer will be responsible for Engineering associated with the improvement of manufacturing equipment and processes. They will identify and lead the changes to your area of responsibility, highlighting the improvements, risk and discussing the consequences of changes in products and processes within their own team and to other internal functions. They will develop an improvement plan for the area of concern and implements those improvements inclusive of changes to process, equipment and procedures.<br><br>As a Production Engineer, you will be responsible for:<br><ul><li>Collaborating with the work centre team and analysis of manufacturing data to identify improvements and quantify the benefits and prioritising projects and improvements within designated area</li><li>Sharing best practices, information and improvements with the wider Production Engineering and site teams</li><li>Generating technical and functional specifications for implementing new equipment or modifying existing equipment as well as utilising 3D modelling and 2D drawings to produce parts and equipment required for production</li><li>Leading investigations into production issues and non-conformances to identify and correct root causes and Increase area OEE in line with improvement plan</li><li>Generating hand calculations to verify design improvement and improving/reviewing the calculations of other team members</li><li>Working cross functionally with internal teams, external suppliers and contractors to drive project completion in a timely manner</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college</li><li>Have proven experience working within a manufacturing or production position in an engineering environment</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
