<b>Primary Purpose of Job</b><br />
The Coating Inspector main task is to ensure that all the necessary Equipment and Pipeline Coating /Insulation / Fireproofing / Metal spraying / Galvanizing / Rubber lining Integrity Inspections are completed during the relevant period to allow an adequate assessment of the conditions of all Offshore plant, equipment, piping, vessels, structures. The Coating Inspector ensures that all coating, fireproofing or insulation systems are being applied in accordance with the applicable specification and, accurately, concisely and objectively reports the results of all Integrity inspection observations. Plans, schedules, supervises, manages and controls implementation of coating refurbishment Contracts and all other projects carried out by the section. With emphasis to HSE, for coating refurbishment works Maintenance painting, Fireproofing &amp; Insulation application, and other projects as required at offshore locations (Halul, NFA, NSS, FMB, Al-Morjan, PS-2 &amp; PS-3) in line with QP and international standards and contract specifications<br />

<b>Education</b><br />
HND or BSc in Mechanical, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry<br />
<br />
<b>Experience &amp; Skills</b><br />
Minimum 5 years relevant experience in coating inspection in oil &amp; gas industry. NACE Level-2 Coating Inspector, TWI/ BGAS Level-1 Painting Inspector, ICORR Level-2 Painting Inspector or equivalent Fireproofing, NDT &amp; Insulation inspection Qualifications of ICORR or equivalent will be a plus English language: must be fluent in English, both written and spoken. Computing: must be fully computer literate, able to generate reports, using Windows software as a minimum<br />
