Instrumental and Control Field Engineer

<b>Job Summary</b><br> <br> The Instrumental and Control Field Engineer is responsible for the planning and implementation of maintenance programs for all SCADA systems, following the safety and quality procedures required by the industry.<br><br><b>Roles & Responsibilities </b><br> <br> QHSE :<br> <ul> <li> Comply with government laws, policies and standards established by the company, ensuring that all QHSE risks that are part of the operations are identified, understood and mitigated; in addition to dissemination to contractor companies.</li> </ul> <br> Operations Integrity: <br> <ul> <li> Comply with operational integrity standards (Well Integrity, PSIM, SQ, etc).</li> <li> Ensure technical and operational integrity of plans and activities.</li> <li> Evaluate the inherent risks and mitigation actions of the activities under their responsibility.</li> <li> Report all SQ events in a timely manner and with the correct severity in accordance with SLB STD 02.</li> <li> Monitor and verify action plans for reported events and timely close assigned actions, including closing evidence.</li> <li> Actively participate in quality event investigations.</li> <li> Explore new technologies/techniques applicable to improving the quality of the activities in charge. Monitor the impact of quality deviations in your discipline and/or assets. Participate in the performance evaluation of contractors or third parties.</li> <li> Implement relevant lessons learned for future activities. Take corrective actions when quality deviations warrant it. Take necessary measures to reduce quality events. Ensure compliance with standards in members of your team.</li> </ul> <br><br><b>Minimun Job Qualifications</b><br> <ul> <li> Education: Electronic Engineer.</li> <li> Languages: Basic English - Intermediate.</li> <li> Experience: 5 to 8 years minimum of experience in a related position</li> <li> Instrumentation and control systems and equipment.</li> <li> Office packages (Word, Excel, Power point)</li> <li> Schedule and control the use of both human and production resources in the instrumentation and control area, based on the deadlines established by the planning area, maximizing quality and minimizing costs.</li> <li> Residence in Ecuador.</li> </ul> <br><br>Schlumberger is an equal employment opportunity employer.
