Logistics, Distribution, & Transportation Finance & Accessorial Representative

Auto req ID: 280545BR Job Description Main Purpose: This role aims to provide account management for the financial and final payment processes of the Quaker/Gatorade business. Such services include financial reporting, Microsoft Excel data analysis, auditing paperwork, payment processing, and customer collaboration on all logistics matters. The nature of the work is proactive and must be able to alert key stakeholders on potential service gaps. Scope: Overseeing the final payment process for all completed shipments. Collaborate with PepsiCo finance department on any payment disputes and financial change requests. Audit carrier paperwork to identify shipping delay productivity. Effectively build, prioritize, and manage shipments that require accessorial updates, detention charges, pricing changes, and final payments. Provide issue resolution and communication to both external carriers/customers and internal Pepsico contacts. Accountabilities: • Maintain overall accountability for the reduction of unauthorized charges, identifying monthly accrual accessorial revenue, managing carrier and customer disputes, and the retail line of business accessorial (including per diem) margin per load. • Align with the Productivity Team across business functions to produce better operational performance results and drive down costs. • Align with Finance Department to ensure loads are paid correctly and completely. • Maintain Share Point and financial change requests • Weekly ‘Final Payment Releasing’ to ensure financial targets are hit for ‘End of Period’. • Proactive shipment tracking and customer alerts for known anticipated service gaps • Ability to register carriers for PLCI and ePay • Knowledge of all PLCI Accessorials ( Detention, LAYO, Lumpers, ETC) • Timely issue resolution • Carrier compliance to include track & trace check calls • Participate in on-call, after hours as determined based on business needs • Flexible work schedule to include weekend coverage if needed • Ability to manage loads via a TMS software solution Compensation and Benefits: The expected salary range is $ 50400 - $ 60200. Paid time off subject to eligibility, including paid parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement.
