Job Description Job Track Description: Support and administer multiple environments (e.g., production, testing, and development) on multiple devices on a global scale. Provide engineering support for the blade and server Virtual Environment deployments. Install, configure, and manage VMware vSphere environment including vCenter, hypervisor on new hosts, virtual machines, datastore creation and maintenance in coordination with Plan and Build teams. Coordination/integration with specialists from other Conduent teams, including storage, network, server, backups and cloud infrastructures. Diagnose problems on ESXi hosts; troubleshoot technology issues, using various resources; document lessons learned and follow policies and procedures for changes and incident management. Proactive Great communication skills since it requires communication with vendors. Functional Knowledge VMWare Certified Professional vSphere 5.x or higher (optional)– Desired but not required 2-5 years’ experience Working knowledge of Cisco UCS B & C-series servers 2-5 years’ experience Knoweledge in CIL Responsibility Statements Provides support for installations, troubleshoots local applications, and database issues. Provide Health and performance-optimization monitoring of virtualized architecture Assists in maintaining and updating documentation. Administers onsite and remote assistance. Participates in planning, daily meetings, and backlogs sessions. Performs other duties as assigned. Complies with all policies and standards.
