Digital Energy Senior Project Manager

The Senior Project Manager, with will be focused on the effective operational delivery of Strategic Data Center Customer projects for Digital Energy. This is a hands-on customer facing position and the successful candidate must work well with a multi-activities team and interface directly with contractors and end-users regularly. The key requirement is to reduce risk, improve operational delivery and ensure same customer experience across multiple countries within region. The Senior Project Manager role would report to the DE Operations Manager and work closely with the Country stakeholders, project sponsors, project management team(s), Central Engineering and local Engineering teams, SI partners, etc to define the project objectives, create a plan for executing those objectives. Support of onu0002boarding country teams and partners. The Senior Project Manager has an excellent working knowledge of the technical and operational environment in which the project deliverables are created and in which they are used. The Senior Project Manager must be an excellent communicator at all levels both internal and external in the project environment, be proactive and exhibit strong leadership qualities and be able to adapt to a dynamic and geographically disbursed environment. • Accountable for all customer projects in execution regardless of Digital Energy or is this Power focused offer, across the region. Monitors & maintains overview status of all projects. • Attends all SOC/S1/S2 meetings, critical project monthly reviews and REL reviews etc. • Responsible for ensuring aligned execution approach, Engineering Standards, documentation etc. across all projects in the region. • Ensures knowledge transfer / lessons learnt of execution issues to Schneider Electric teams. • Responsible for meeting the scope, schedule, resource and budget commitments reflected in the Project Management Plan • Work with the project team in developing and managing the Project Management Plan within the constraints established and approved by the Project Sponsor. • Implement or ensure enforcement of change control over the project scope, schedule, resources and budget. • Manage the timely resolution of issues, including the escalation of issues that are outside of the project team’s scope of responsibility. • Continually identify and proactively manage project risks and issues, ensure execution of corrective action plans up to closure. • Monitor the project report and report the project status to the management on a regular basis. The post will require travel outside of home area to sites as required. Highly Desirable: • Experience in the Project management of large and critical buildings with sub-contract installation packages. • Leadership of project management teams. • Advantage to have experience in construction project management and Data Center architecture. • Experience with deployment of Digital Energy Offer including Energy Automation (EBO BMS, Power Operation / Power Scada Operation, EPAS/ Pacis) and / or WonderWare System Platform • Experience with deployment of Digital Building offer • Multi-language and multi-cultural working experience Typical Project Scope of works • Project Management and Engineering Resource. • Hard design of the Integration systems using BMS/SCADA based products from the Schneider range. • Provision of BMS / SCADA screens and Engineering the Control Systems to the Clients Sequence of Operational requirements. • Provision of control panels and interfaces (installed by others) • Provision of field devices primarily for the Mechanical Systems. • Commissioning, setting to work and QA/QC • MV Integration to our Management System BMS / SCADA / EPMS • LV Integration as above. • Mechanical Integration as above. • Controls for Chilled Water Systems, Process Water, Office Area’s and Air Handling Equipment Core Competencies • Handle successfully Project transfer from Selling to Execution phases via proactive involvement with Sales & Tendering team prior to the transfer. Can support bid preparation and/or final contract negotiation. • Manage the relationship with the customer and third parties within project scope and accountable for the execution of the project in line with the contract • all necessary actions to correct any deviations or quality issues occurring during project execution. • Steer, organize and lead project team and suppliers via project team charter. Insure operational management of project team & suppliers. Can have hierarchical responsibilities. Insure effective communication within the team for best team coordination and motivation. • Manage project contract ensuring fulfilment of Schneider Electric contractual obligations and application of its contractual rights (protect company's interests). • Drive project team and support functions via appropriate actions to manage claims and timely recover customer receivables (payments…) • Monitor, control & report project execution status, progress & KPIs. Ensure full & effective reporting to management (reports, project reviews, …). • Inform timely leadership team about all key & relevant project events impacting project performance or compliance with governance principles • Master project risks & opportunities via strong project team work over full contractual perimeter. Assess the analysis of all kinds of risks & opportunities (Financial, technical, commercial, ...) then define and carry till successful completion necessary actions to avoid or mitigate risks and achieve opportunities. • Develop customer intimacy (including end-user if applicable), leading and organising all project team interaction with customer organisations (correspondences, emails, calls, meetings, ...). Ensure highest level of customer satisfaction for both delivered solution and customer experience during project execution phase. • Take full accountability over project profitability including 1. budget (cost & margin) forecasting, engagements follow-up & re-forecasting over all Schneider Electric involved entities; 2. Cash & working capital management strategy; 3. Successful implementation of all profitability improvement actions. • Ensure project team and suppliers are executing the project in full compliance with Schneider-Electric processes, quality instructions and governance principles. Take all necessary actions to correct any deviations or quality issues occurring during project execution. • Conduct Lessons Learned session with Project team to share feedbacks Why us?
