<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood has an immediate role for a <b>Regulatory Advisor (Technical Safety Engineer)</b> to join our team in Perth, Western Australia as part of its Operations APAC West business. This is an initial 12 month opportunity and anticipated to be an ongoing requirement on a rare decommissioning project. <br><br>Wood delivers Brownfields engineering, procurement, construction, optimisation and technical services to the oil and gas sector and enjoys long-term partnerships with some of the region's most prominent producers, actively supporting operations in Western Australia, the Northern Territory and Kazakhstan. <br><br>As <b>Regulatory Advisor (Technical Safety Engineer)</b> reporting directly to the Senior Project Manager (Decommissioning), your focus will be: <br><ul><li> Providing main day-to-day interface between DISER, Regulators and Phase 1 Lead Contractor </li><li> Ensuring schedule to develop and approved regulatory documents is appropriately represented on schedule </li><li> Ensuring Regulator is appropriately briefed on project objects </li></ul><br> <b>Responsibilities</b> <br><ul><li> Ensuring the interest of DISER are represented in the Regulatory documents. </li><li> Ensuring appropriate documents are complaint with Regulatory Standards </li><li> Ensuring changes are made in a timely manner and do not negatively affect project critical path </li><li> Providing main interface with NOPSEMA </li><li> Ensuring works are carried out in compliance with regulations </li><li> Supporting Verification and Assurance activities as required </li><li> Provides expertise to project cost and schedule reports including variance analysis </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b>You will must be an Australian citizen and have the ability to pass a
