Senior Business Analyst, Global Finance

The Opportunity: Reporting to the Head of Controlling and working closely with the Finance Business Partners team, this is , this is a key role for our advancement of technology and automation of processes for budgeting, forecasting, reporting and operational accounting. As the implementation of BOARD is a main part of our automation strategy, the role is pivotal to the launch, as well as the on-going build out and customization, expected over the next couple of years. Expectations and accountabilities of the role also includes update and reconfiguration of existing tools used by the entire finance business partner team. Leveraging BOARD and other data warehouses, the successful candidate will provide thought leadership, use case development, application development, disparate system integration. Required direct stakeholder involvement in relation to the Maturity and customization of the systems output. What you will do Advancement and Operationalization of Technology Lead the design, development, enhancement of BOARD. Manage required system fixes and requested customization Build use cases for future augmentation of systems for maturity Document processes and procedures for users Prepare and maintain user guides and deliver training Development of leadership packs covering financial and business KPIs, using BOARD and Power BI Review of existing process to automate, eliminate non-value add activities and streamline overall process Manage projects to build dashboards,. Manage day to day relationship with Business Operations Team & enabling functions to support them with adhoc financial data request Support Ad-hoc requests from various stakeholders Conduct meetings and support ad hoc requests from various stakeholders Drive cross functional improvement projects Administration and Data Validation Responsible for managing user governance, security roles and procedures for Board Management and access control of budget and forecast data sets in BOARD Analyzing and validating that data across various sources, such as HR Success Factors and SAP always remain in synch with BOARD Manage user experience including functionality of input screens and reports Manage the set-up, update and functionality of data tables such as overhead, salary statistics, benefits and foreign currencies Currency mapping table. Manage the process for reconciliating, validating and updating BOARD with HR data from Success Factors What you bring to the role Expert Knowledge of financial Planning, financial modeling and management reporting Advanced knowledge of Excel/VBA, PowerPoint, Power Automate and Power Apps Good Project Management Skills Experience in reporting tools such as Power BI, Qliksense, Qlik view - creating solutions for data visualization to enhance business processes, end-to-end testing of the reports, data quality corrections, evaluating and improvising existing system by incorporating business feedback, monitoring, and administration of reports, writing DAX queries, query tuning, user access management. Good knowledge of data modelling and data warehousing. Experienced in data preparation, data blending, and the creation of data models. Good Analytic capabilities in analyzing data, reporting requirements, identify KPIs, insights and trends. Minimum an undergraduate degree in business or finance At least 5 years' progressive financial and technical experience preferably in a large, multinational environment Self-motivated and proven ability to manage to deadlines and multi-task Committed to delivering results with the ability to work with minimal direction Monitors and evaluates projects and takes action to deliver the highest possible service Identifies lessons learned from challenging incidents Actively gathers knowledge, learns from experience, and learns from others Analytical mind-set having keen observational qualities and an eye for detail Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills Ability to work in dynamic environment and dealing with changing business requirements Strong business acumen.
