GBS Transformation Consultant

Auto req ID: 277180BR Job Description Global Business Services (GBS) organization has been established to provide efficient and effective services to PepsiCo businesses globally, for all sectors. To enable transformation across PEP and GBS, GBS is standing up consulting Design project engagement teams to create the future state for Design capability within GBS across people, process, and technology. This role will report to GBS Design Product Oriented Delivery and will be part of the global Design/Consulting team to scope and deliver Design phase engagements, work with stakeholders in various sectors and functions, and integrate other enabling workstreams including Process Excellence, Enterprise Service Management, Transitions, HR, IT, Finance, among others. GBS Transformation Consultant will support GBS Design POD Manager and Design Lead to capture, develop and execute program level, build resources focused on end-to-end Design Transformation agenda development, execution, and sustainment. Accountabilities: Conduct key design activities, included but not limited to: Global Functional Taxonomy data collection, review and alignment with Functions vs. Local Blueprint, time allocation survey, data gathering and analyses, process mapping, org charts, future operating model, system requirements review etc. Actively participate, collect and analyze all the required data for various stages of design phase output and capture it as a result of various workshops and make relevant analysis based on the design methodology and playbook. Leverage established design playbook, methodologies and tools to execute the plans supporting implementation, execution and delivery during the ongoing design projects. Provide feedback for any necessary updates and amendments to the design playbook, global taxonomies, blueprints etc. as the program matures. Deliver and review effective design plans in cooperation with the Sector/Function Design teams. Works with relevant stakeholders (including SMEs) to build best in class design outcome. Drive continuous improvements to the quality and efficiency of the Design process. Work with Design POD Manager to share feedback to enhance program/product specific design playbooks and deliverables including templates to ensure standard approach with other stakeholders. Work with functional sector design leads to customize taxonomies and playbooks to global standards set by Global Function Lead. Provide necessary support to Design Manager and Design Sector/ Function Lead to deliver milestones on time and with expected quality. Challenge status quo if needed, by applying best in class standards used in design. Think forward and provide guidance for future state of operating model vs. what is designed for short term future. Qualifications/Requirements 3-6 years of experience with strong project management background, including global coordination of local deliverables, Prior consulting service or transformational/transition project management experience in large scale global organizations with emphasis on service design/delivery/solution building, Certification and/or experience in industry best practice methodologies, including Agile and Lean Six Sigma is a plus, Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred (not mandatory), Expert communications, including in-person and virtual meeting facilitation, Excellent analytical skills and work with data + drawing conclusions based on the trends and business development in GBS, Proficient with MS Office – SharePoint, TEAMS, MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Ability to influence cross functional teams and achieve cross divisional alignment, Results oriented, adept in conflict resolution, skilled at prioritization and change management, Able to work autonomously and be comfortable with ambiguity, Able to effectively work in a highly matrixed organization, handling competing priorities and connecting the dots across.
