We produce paediatric and adult vaccines for a range of infectious diseases. In Australia our vaccines portfolio helps prevent illnesses such as shingles, hepatitis, rotavirus and HPV infections, diphtheria, tetanus, whooping cough, measles, mumps, rubella, bacterial meningitis, and influenza. We are excited to announce we are now looking to expand our reach to Specialist customers and implement a strategy that aims to increase awareness of the benefits of vaccination for patients at particular risk of Shingles, including immunocompromised patients. We are looking for three Vaccine Account Managers to join our newly created Vaccines Specialty team. These unique and exciting opportunities are both Sydney based, 16 month contracts covering NSW/ACT territories. These are great opportunities for experienced GP Representatives looking to make a transition into a specialty role. Reporting into a National Sales Manager, you will have full ownership and accountability for managing accounts within your territory. To support best treatment outcomes for patients, you will provide a consistent, science led and value- added service for Rheumatology, Gastroenterology and Immunology Clinicians. The role of VAM will see you working in partnership with your customers with an objective to drive improved vaccination rates for patients at risk of developing Shingles. Your role will be varied and will include: Developing and executing a comprehensive account plan to contribute to a successful launch, drive value and deliver growth Supporting the implementation of key programs which differentiate and enhance GSK’s standing in the healthcare market Ensure that key accounts and stakeholders are engaged, educated and informed to support the patient journey Developing an omni-channel and tailored approach to engaging with HCPs/GPs using different tools and technologies including face to face and virtual engagement/sales detailing and presentations Working in partnership with GSK commercial, medical and sales teams to deliver objectives in line with GSK strategic objectives Using data insights and analysing sales performance to develop and deliver a comprehensive territory plan to drive value and deliver growth Maintain a high level of knowledge for GSK promoted brands, relevant disease states and industry intelligence To be successful in this role you will have: Experience in a field-based GP Sales Representative, Hospital Specialist or Key Account Manager role An aptitude for science together with strong learning agility and the ability to absorb and credibly convey complex scientific information to customers Strong technology proficiency as well as being prepared and open to trial new tools and channels to engage effectively with our customers An applied understanding of the complexities of working in the hospital environment (preferred) A Tertiary qualification in science, pharmacology or a related field Comfort with virtual engagement/online sales detailing and presenting to customers using a variety of different tools and technologies Proven experience and capability with CRM systems, data entry, reporting and documentation Clear and influential communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both medical and commercial stakeholders A sharp commercial focus complemented by outstanding account management, influencing and relationship-building skills ABOUT US At GSK, we have already delivered unprecedented change over the past four years, improving R&D, becoming a leader in Consumer Healthcare, strengthening our leadership, and transforming our commercial execution.
