Rapid Response Quote Estimator

<p>We are recruiting for a <strong>Rapid Response Quote Estimator</strong> based at our Headquarters in Aberdeen to complete Price and Delivery (P&D) requests from sales departments for the Precision Manufacturing Division. </p>

<p>The successful candidate will be responsible for the fast response of all quotations of Hydrasun manufactured special components, ensuring that work is appropriately planned and scheduled to meet customer delivery requirements.</p>

<p><strong><u>Essential Qualifications, Experience and Competencies</u></strong></p>

<p><strong><u>Desirable Qualifications, Experience and Competencies</u></strong></p>

<ul>
<li>Experienced in the operation of various types of machine shop equipment</li>
<li>Experience in estimating Price and Deliveries (P&D) for machined components</li>
<li>Oil and Gas industry knowledge</li>
<li>Experience in the operation of various types of machine shop equipment</li>
<li>Experience/knowledge of Stainless Steel and 'exotic' components</li>
<li>Previous ERP system experience</li>
</ul>

<p>Duties will include but will not be limited to:</p>

<ul>
<li>Provide fast, accurate estimates for price and delivery requirements including CNC lathe times, material, tooling and sub-contract prices</li>
<li>Liaise with material suppliers and sub-contract machine shops to obtain the best price and delivery</li>
<li>Accurately reviewing customer specifications and drawings</li>
<li>Liaise with Aviemore and Engineering department regarding design issues</li>
<li>Provide technical assistance to sales department with special part enquiries</li>
<li>Input to production schedules to allow fast response to urgent customer delivery requirements through communication with the Precision Manufacturing Division</li>
<li>All safety rules and regulations in accordance with the organisation's HSE Management System, to be conformed to at all times</li>
<li>Ensure that all tasks carried out by team meet company QMS procedures</li>
<li>If required, work overtime to ensure organisational or client deadlines are met</li>
