We are looking for a highly committed: Quality Technician 3 based in Selzach (Permanent) Overiew Responsible for coordinating, assigning, and reviewing 3D CMM inspection and FAI activities. Also responsible for providing guidance to less experienced employees. Provides technical system support with respect to 3D software and other inspection application, development in support of the calibration and metrology effort. Act as Subject Matter Expert regarding measurement techniques/-methodolgies at the site Further responsibilities and duties are Conduct First Article Inspection (FAI), FIR, test reports, incoming, in-process and final inspections. Establish CMM programs, release and control according internal procedure. Support of New Product Introduction and Design Transfers at the site. Support and conduct Gage R&R (measurement capabilities assessments). Reviews reports concerning workmanship defects and other quality issues. Performs very complex tests and analyses to assure that products comply with established specifications. Carries out very difficult calculations and prepares documentation that shows the results of tests performed. Acts as the principal Subject Matter Expert for GD+T. Acts as the principal Subject Matter Expert for measurement techniques/-methodologies. Formulates recommendations for corrective action for management. Prepares remedial recommendations. Prepares statistical reports on 3D CMM quality control results for management. Provides and supervises training on 3D CMM test equipment and (special) GMD. Implements revisions, corrections and changes to test equipment, procedures and methods. Issues and executes NCR within the software application. Acts as owner of actions assigned from quality systems (NCR, CAPA, Audit Observations). Qualifications Associates Degree or Equivalent. 6-8 years related experience. Quality-oriented mindset.
