Lead Structural Engineer

<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Lead Structural Engineer, Registered as a Professional Engineer (ECSA) with extensive experience in mining and minerals industry. <br><br><b> DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES: </b><br><ul><li> Technical and administrative responsibility on structural engineering matters. </li><li> Monitor progress and performance of structural engineering team. </li><li> Give input and provide feedback and support where necessary. </li><li> Provide technical and administrative direction on project related matters. </li><li> Coordination of engineering and drawing packages. </li><li> Liaise and be focal point for transfer of information with all other project team members, fabricators, construction, vendors and engineering management as necessary. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><b> EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: </b><br><ul><li> 10 to 15 years of structural engineering detail design on mining and process plant, within aqn EPC/EPCM. </li><li> Experienced in a lead engineering role on large and complex industrial structures within a 3D environment. </li><li> Ability to coordinate complex workload (including workshare with external engineering and drafting resources). </li><li> Ability to manage and interface with similar internal technical leads in other countries. </li></ul> <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
