We have a unique and exciting Sydney based 16 month Key Account Manager opportunity available across the territories of NSW/ACT, with joint responsibility for increasing awareness of the benefits of vaccination for patients at particular risk of Shingles as well as differentiating our COVID Therapeutics medicine as the monoclonal antibody of choice for the early treatment of COVID-19 amongst respiratory and cardiology specialists. Reporting into a National Sales Manager you will have full ownership and accountability for managing accounts within your territory; providing a consistent, science led and value- added service for respiratory and cardiology Clinicians to support best treatment outcomes for patients. Your role will be varied and will include: Developing and executing a comprehensive account plan to contribute to a successful launch, drive value and deliver growth. Accountability for increased Specialist recommendations/prescriptions or referrals to GPs for appropriate patients Building trust and relationships based on value exchange with all relevant stakeholders, including Specialists, Nurses, Pharmacists and Specialists. Developing a deep understanding of the patient pathway, disease and competitor landscape. Delivering an omni-channel and tailored approach to engaging with HCPs/GPs using different tools and technologies including face to face and virtual engagement/sales detailing and presentations. Using data insights and analysing sales performance to develop and deliver a comprehensive territory plan to drive value and deliver growth. Working in partnership with GSK commercial, medical and sales teams to deliver objectives in line with GSK strategic objectives. To be successful in this role you will have: Experience in Hospital Specialist or Key Account Manager roles in a specialty area. (preferred) An applied understanding of the complexities of working in the hospital environment. Cardiology and respiratory therapeutic area expertise will be highly regarded. Comfort with virtual engagement/online sales detailing and presenting to customers using a variety of different tools and technologies. Clear and influential communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both medical and commercial stakeholders. An aptitude for science with the ability to relay complex information in a clear and tailored format. A sharp commercial focus complemented by outstanding account management, influencing and relationship-building skills. Proven experience and capability with CRM systems, data entry, reporting and documentation. New product launch experience with strategic specialty assets will be highly regarded A Tertiary qualification in science, pharmacology or a related field.
