<p>Flowserve in Etten-Leur is looking for a Repair Advisor Rotating</p>

<p>Flowserve produces, maintains and repairs various types of centrifugal pumps, compressors and turbines for industrial applications and mainly in the higher segment of the market where high demands are made on engineering standards.</p>
<p>We are an important partner for our customers in the oil and gas industry, petrochemicals, but also an important player in the water market.</p>
<p>Pumps are offered for repair and / or upgrade in the Service and Repair department.</p>
<p>The main task of the Repair Advisor is to perform inspections and make a repair proposal for all types of centrifugal pumps and pump parts during the Disassembly, Cleaning and Inspection (DCI) process in the Quick Response Center in Etten-Leur.</p>
<p>An important point within the position is guaranteeing the quality of our products.</p>
<p>The Repair Advisor reports to the foreman DCI.</p>
<p>This is a full-time day shift position.</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities & Requirements</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Drawing up a clear inspection report of all common types of pumps.</li>
<li>To be able to independently make repair proposals based on the inspection findings.</li>
<li>Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and apply measurement protocols.</li>
<li>Be able to use different precision measuring instruments such as eg micrometers in both inch and metric measurements.</li>
<li>Working according to the applicable production and quality processes.</li>
<li>Convert customer specific questions into a feasible repair proposal.</li>
<li>Knowledge of non-destructive testing is an advantage. Think of PMI control (positive material identification), wall thickness measurements, hardness measurements and PT control.</li>
<li>Being able to guarantee the required lead time and quality even under time pressure.</li>
<li>Be able to clearly explain the prepared inspection reports during inspection discussions. This applies to internal discussions with direct colleagues as well as to discussions with our customers.</li>
<li>Collaborate with different departments such as Assembly, Engineering, Project Management and work preparation.</li>
<li>Respect and proactively work with Safety and associated processes such as Lean / 6S.</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Preferred Experience / Skills</b></p>
<ul>
<li>MBO+ level Mechanical Engineering / Process Engineering.</li>
<li>1-2 years of experience in mechanical engineering.</li>
<li>Experience with pumps / rotating equipment is a clear advantage.</li>
<li>Knowledge of material types / specifications and repair methods is an advantage.</li>
<li>Knowledge of machining and welding methods is an advantage.</li>
<li>Good command of the Dutch and English language, both orally and in writing.</li>
<li>Knowledge of basic computer skills, such as MS Office.</li>
<li>Communicative and social skills.</li>
<li>The ability to think and act in a problem-solving manner and to make independent decisions based on this and to substantiate these.</li>
<li>Overtime is no problem for you.</li>
<li>Being in possession of a forklift and / or forklift truck certificate is an advantage.</li>
