<p><b>Role Summary</b></p>
<p>As Flowserve continues with the implementation and development of a strong, standardized and unique Commercial Operations (Com Ops) Parts organization across the platforms and Regions, we are looking for a strong candidate to cover the Role of Parts Com Ops Quote Creator, responsible for Pump Parts Quoting for our Aftermarket Organization in EMA.</p>
<p>The Parts Com Ops Quote Creator is primarily in charge of tracking the main KPIs associated to the Pump Parts business in the Region including volumes, bookings and profitability, resulting from the specific Sales Area and associated to the respective Ops within and outside of the EMA Region.</p>
<p><b>Responsibilities & Requirements</b></p>
<p>In this role, you will be expected to build solid relations with Sales and Customers through constant verbal communication, written correspondence and face to face visits along with Sales.</p>
<p>You will focus on accurate proposal generation, review incoming specifications and offer suggested scope of supply.</p>
<p>You will be expected to independently manage you work queue of daily tactical requirements to drive best in class response, while addressing the market sensitive needs of price and delivery for each proposal to support the Flowserve opportunity.</p>
<p>To be successful in the role you will need to be customer aligned and results-focused in our fast paced environment, while ensuring effective communication and collaboration across varying functional / business platforms and relevant stakeholders.</p>
<p><b>Your daily duties will include :</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Generate of high quality, on time, Parts Quotations</li>
<li>Lead all coordination efforts on applicable aftermarket quotes while ensuring close collaboration and communication with all applicable stakeholders</li>
<li>Review customer specifications and documents in order to apply current FLS technical and commercial requirements</li>
<li>Acting as single point of contact for sales about Spare Parts Quotations within the specific area of responsibility</li>
<li>Establish and maintain alignment between Sales and Operations, including but not limited to Parts Booking Forecasting process from a regional perspective.</li>
<li>Manage and monitor the proposal throughout the entire bid cycle including updating and maintaining designated workload management tool, while monitoring hit-rate is optimized.</li>
<li>Metrics (volume-responsiveness-effectiveness) driven</li>
<li>Pricing Policies (consistency and Control)</li>
<li>Support sales on resolving customer parts complaints by coordinating with the respective BU's</li>
</ul>
<p><b>Requirements : :</b></p>
<ul>
<li>Good Communications and Interpersonal Skills (speaking writing)</li>
<li>College Degree, or equivalent relevant industry experience preferred</li>
<li>Co-op or Intern experience as an Quoting Resource with an industrial equipment manufacturer is a plus</li>
<li>Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal</li>
<li>Dutch and English proficiency; additional language (German) other than native is a plus.</li>
<li>Excellent understanding of life cycle cost principles and the ability to create value added proposals that differentiate Flowserve product offerings</li>
<li>Commitment on results</li>
<li>Ability to create detailed cost price proposals for large, complex, high value parts</li>
<li>Good organization skills and attention to details, time management, and deadlines</li>
<li>Strong problem solving skills, able to work independently and be a Team Player with an international mindset and approach</li>
<li>Ability to multi task efficiently and set priorities in a fast paced environment</li>
<li>Attention to detail and process oriented mindset with mechanical aptitude.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft package (Excel, Power Point)</li>

<p><b>Preferred Experience / Skills</b></p>

<li>Availability to travel when required</li>

<li>Basic knowledge of centrifugal pumps and / or rotating equipment, material specifications, metallurgy, inventory control, estimating knowledge and a general understanding of the sales cycle.</li>
