<b> Overview / Responsibilities </b><br><br>Wood is currently recruiting for a Senior Project Manager with extensive Decommissioning experience in the Offshore Oil & Gas industry to join our team in Melbourne. The ideal candidate will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and implementing projects involving, topside, subsea, disposal and pipeline decommissioning activities. The successful candidate will also have proven experience dealing with major Heavy Lift Vessel and Preparatory Vessel Contractors and the management of those key contractors as part of an integrated Decommissioning Team. <br><br> This role will act as the main Decommissioning client interface and will be responsible for building and managing the Wood Decommissioning team to ensure all works are executed to scope, cost and schedule. Project Management experience working on ExxonMobil Decommissioning Projects is preferable but not mandatory <br><br><b>Responsibilities:</b> <br><ul><li> Manage and recruit a team of project representatives to support the growing Decommissioning works, to ensure the correct delivery structure is in place through each phase of the ERPD execution </li><li> Prepare Decommissioning SOR's & cost estimates in line with client or Vessel Contractor requirements/specifications </li><li> Responsible for stakeholder engagement and management with both client and Vessel Contractor Representatives </li><li> Proven experience managing Lump Sum Projects and strength in change management </li><li> Track project costs and schedule progress against baseline commitments </li><li> An understanding of regulatory and environmental requirements as it pertains to EPRD in an Offshore Environment </li><li> Oversight on decommissioning Project Closure packages completed by technical support team </li><li> Implementation of the company quality management system for the project </li><li> Overall responsibility for the financial and technical success of the project </li></ul> <br><br><b> Skills / Qualifications </b><br><br><ul><li> Bachelor Degree in Engineering </li><li> Minimum 25 years of experience in a Project Management role managing significant Decommissioning and EPC projects in a Greenfield or Brownfield hydrocarbons environment, preferably in the offshore oil and gas industry </li><li> Previous experience in a role of Project Manager leading a project multidiscipline team </li><li> Demonstrated supervisory and administration skills necessary to organise and lead a project team, develop design / implementation schedules and provide on-going status reports to the senior management team </li><li> Demonstrated strong commitment to safety </li><li> Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills, both written and oral </li></ul><br> Candidates must have full work rights in Australia to be considered for this role. <br><br>If you're an experienced Senior Project Manager, ready for your next project, then we are keen to hear from you today. <br><br>Apply now and take the next step in your career with this exciting opportunity! <br><br><b> Company Overview </b><br><br>Wood is a global leader in engineering and consultancy across energy and the built environment, helping to unlock solutions to some of the world's most critical challenges.
