You will be playing a vital role in making clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene normal for everyone everywhere!</strong></p><p>Join the team as their new Receptionist where you will play an integral part in changing normal for millions of people so they can unlock their potential, break free from poverty, and change their lives for good.</p><p> </p><p>The Property, Facilities and Reception team are a small (but high performing team) who make a big difference by ensuring the London office is a safe, engaging and inspiring place to work.</p><p> </p><p>This is a fully office-based role, with a full-time contract. The successful candidate is expected to be based in the office at Canary Wharf, London.</p><p><strong>Job Description</strong> </p><p>To provide a professional and welcoming front of house service, acting as first point of contact for visitors in line with their values, image and policies.</p><p> </p><p>To run and administer all reception-based services relating to the front of house including the switchboard.</p><p> </p><p>To support the team in making this a great place to work ensuring the London office is a safe, pleasant, inspiring and efficient working environment, complying with Health and Safety requirements and role modelling environmentally friendly practices.</p><p> </p><p>To undertake administrative and facilities-based tasks as required.</p><p>You'll also: </p><ul><li>Act as a first point of contact for all visitors, welcome them courteously and professionally and look after them until they are collected by staff.</li><li>Oversee the switchboard and manage all calls in a prompt, professional and courteous manner, screening and/or forwarding calls as appropriate.</li><li>Ensure reception and front of house kitchen is always presentable and clear of any Health and Safety concerns.</li><li>Follow all reception and administration processes and procedures as laid out in the charity's Reception manual and Service Level Agreements including guidelines on maintaining a professional image.</li><li>Support the Facilities Manager with administration.</li></ul><p><strong>Person Specification </strong></p><p>To be successful, you'll need: </p><ul><li>Commitment to the charity's values (Courage, Respect, Integrity, Accountability, Innovation, Collaboration)</li><li>Excellent verbal and written communication skills</li><li>Ability to prioritise and co-ordinate across multiple tasks</li><li>Calm approach when working under pressure with the ability to deal professionally with people at all levels</li><li>High standards of personal presentation and excellent timekeeping</li><li>Professional and mature approach: courteous and polite at all times</li><li>Ability to work collaboratively in a team as well as on own initiative as required</li><li>Flexible, with ability to learn and take on new tasks as needed</li><li>Excellent attention to detail</li><li>Working knowledge of MS Software (i.e. Microsoft Office Word, Excel and Outlook)</li></ul><p> </p><p><strong>The Charity is located at 20 Canada Square, London.
