We are searching the best talent for Government Affairs & Policy Consumo to be in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Purpose: Responsible for proactively assessing, influencing, and shaping the rapidly evolving policy environment in close collaboration and partnering with internal stakeholders of the Consumer business. Critical to the success of this position will be the ability to both anticipate issues and serve the needs of the Consumer business in such a way that they are able to sustain and grow their business. This position will be partnering with Consumer new company leading government definitions of import quotas/approvals and price increases whenever necessary in front of the relevant government entities. You will be responsible for: Monitor and shape governmental policies, regulations or legislations that may impact on the company's products and services and recommend contingency plans. Participate in industry coalitions and industry groups to be proactive in managing uncertainty and regulatory changes. Connect and engage leaders in the external environment. Maintains critical policy partner relationships and provide information to help governments and other stakeholders to solve problems. Monitor department budget and ensures that appropriate cost controls are in place. Interact with high-level government officials and members of Congress; deliver J&J´s view on policy matters Coordinate and position Consumer representation at industry and trade associations and to ensure that business interests are taken into full consideration. Support GMs at industry trade associations and other organizations, providing insights and strategy recommendations Develop solid, comprehensive, and actionable advocacy plans to advance business priorities; ensure proper alignment with the business and coordinate with other functions, such as Legal, Regulatory Affairs, Marketing and Communications Map major policy trends and identify opportunities and risks for the Consumer business; provide analysis and recommendations for action, both on the policy and business fronts Qualifications Qualifications and requirements: 7 years of professional experience Spanish and fluent in English (written and spoken) Experienced in working with political systems, policy issues, and government (Healthcare policy is preferred) Experience with analytical and creative approach to policy issues, as well as cross functional teams Proven coalition-building and external representation and negotiation skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Spanish and English Bachelor’s degree required, Master is preferred Familiar with industry issues in Argentina Commitment to ethical business practices Percentage Traveled: 30% Primary Location Argentina-Buenos Aires-- Organization Johnson & Johnson de Argentina S.A.C.e.l.
