<b>Location</b>: Perth-WA, Brisbane-QLD, and Adelaide-SA<br> <ul> <li> Permanent employment</li> <li> Gold Tier Private Health Cover</li> <li> Comprehensive Life, TPD & Income Protection Insurances</li> <li> Wellness Benefits</li> <li> Employment Assistance Program</li> <li> Discounted Stock Purchase Program</li> <li> Attractive compensation package</li> </ul> <br> Schlumberger is currently seeking to hire a qualified and experienced candidate to fill a <b>Permanent Full Time</b> position of <b>MWD Specialist</b>.<br><br><b>Essential Responsibilities and Duties:</b><br> <ul> <li> Provides an engineering interface with the client</li> <li> Responsible for the effective design and implementation of well plans</li> <li> Performs engineering duties as required to provide directional drilling operations and clients with drilling plans, conceptual design, detail design and work programs for prospective oil and gas wells</li> <li> Supports the Service Delivery and Sales process with technical expertise</li> <li> Involved with the design and planning for conventional and complex Wells (ERD, HP/HT, Multilaterals)</li> <li> Participate in tender responses</li> <li> Follows the Drilling Engineering process and provides real time decision support to D&M Engineers and clients</li> </ul> <br><br><b>Requirements:</b><br> <ul> <li> Must reside in Australia</li> <li> Must have the full right to live and work in Australia including work offshore</li> <li> No travel restrictions and open to relocation in Australia based on company's requirement</li> <li> Proof of 2-3 years Technical TAFE Diploma Certificate as minimum OR have minimum 3 rig experience as trades (Electrician, Mechanic, etc)</li> <li> Minimum 3 years field experience running drilling services at the wellsite, including competency in Logging While Drilling and Directional Drilling</li> <li> Prefer to have valid BOSIET, MSIC, CSTP and OGUK medical certificates</li> <li> Ability to maintain, prepare and dispatch of equipment</li> <li> Ability to maintain high quality of service delivery at the wellsite, in terms of safety, quality and efficiency of operation</li> <li> Ability to run required services, supervise operations and managing people, interact with clients and other related parties</li> <li> Good personnel skills, excellent in communication, highly self-motivated, competent computer skills and ability to learn new software</li> <li> Can work in a high-pressure, learns quickly and adapts to new problems and situations</li> <li> Must be a team player, able to get along with individuals from other groups in the organization, and a good communicator</li> <li> Excellent English written and verbal communication skills essential</li> </ul> <br><br>If you are looking for an exciting career in a dynamic international company, rewarding career opportunities and an attractive compensation package, we encourage you to apply.<br><br><b>Application:</b> Please apply via this advertisement and upload detailed resume and a cover letter outlining your qualifications and work experience.<br> <br> Only successful applicants that meet the above criteria will be contacted.<br> <br> Schlumberger is an equal employment opportunity employer.
