You will lead and make technical decisions with minimum help to execute the tasks within the schedule and maintain quality. The Mechanical Engineer will conduct detail/conception engineering, repair, modification and documentation for subsea equipment.<br><br><b>As a Lead Engineer - Mechanical Component, you will be responsible for:</b><br><ul><li>Executing and leading the given engineering tasks/projects (Independently or part of a team), according to BHGE and international standards and procedures as well as lead in technical Investigations and studies<br></li><li>Following up, giving instructions and guidelines to Engineers when leading task<br></li><li>Being flexible to work in multiple subsea and offshore product lines as required<br></li><li>Supporting commercial quotation process and create scope of work.<br></li><li>Supporting the PM during engineering execution and the workshop and Offshore operations after project completion, possessing technical ownership of all product group's procedures and documentation<br></li><li>Creating/Reviewing/Approving engineering Parts/Documents/Procedures/Study Reports/ Design/Requirement as per industry and company guidelines and standards<br></li><li>Promoting and ensuring compliance to company and regulatory EHS requirements & expectations at all time<br></li><li>Handling other tasks may be assigned if deemed necessary<br></li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br><ul><li>Have a Bachelor's degree within Mechanical Engineering or Marine Technology or equivalent knowledge and experience<br></li><li>Have experience and proven track record with Oil & Gas subsea product.<br></li><li>Have experience and knowledge within mechanical design<br></li><li>Have knowledge of International & National Regulations<br></li><li>Demonstrate sound commercial understanding of the Pipeline market<br></li><li>Demonstrate proficiency in Product Management Software, Creo 3D and PLM software (Teamcenter/ePIMS)<br></li><li>Demonstrate good experience in a similar position<br></li><li>Be a good team player and display good communication skills in English.<br></li></ul><br><br>Work in a way that works for you<br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
