<b>Primary Purpose of Job</b></p>

<p>Receive work requests, raise permits, Supervise and quality control work carried out by call off and other contractors as part of Civil Section responsibilities during routine and non routine maintenance and shutdown work. Work includes at inside and outside Refinery, Berth 6 Operational areas, pipeline infrastructure between Refinery and downstream customers. Responsibilities for the above include, Industrial coating, Fireproofing, Industrial Cleaning and Concrete rehabilitation work.<br />
<br />
<b>Education</b></p>

<p>&bull; Completion of Secondary Education (12 years), followed by minimum 2 year full time trade training with relevant Technical Diploma.<br />
<br />
<b>Experience &amp; Skills</b></p>

<p>&bull; 5 years varied experience in the petrochemical industry including quantity surveying and costing of related works forming part of this job description.</p>

<p>&bull; Knowledge of local and International QA/QC methods.</p>

<p>&bull; Computer literate in use of spread sheet and relevant software (AutoCAD and basic survey skills will be an advantage).</p>

<p>&bull; Good knowledge of written and spoken English.</p>

<p>&bull; Ability to read/ interpret engineering drawings</p>

<p>&bull; Knowledge of safety procedures.<br />
