Innovating in the energy industry, our subsea and surface pressure capabilities are industry-leading.<br><br><b>Partner with the best</b><br><br>As a Lead Hydro Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for activities contributing to the design and development of products, solutions and systems. This will include; activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components. Requiring mastery of a body of theoretical knowledge, who has developed and strong foundation of function skills and knowledge of relevant technologies.<br><br>As a Lead Hydro Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for:<br> <br><ul><li>Ensuring that product design conforms with a field proven or qualified technologies</li><li>Ensuring technical compliance of products with specification, codes, standards, legislation and client technical requirements</li><li>Generating on and / or reviewing of technical procurement specifications, parts and document suites</li><li>Managing engagement with all relevant stakeholders (internal and external) and developing and maintaining effective relationships/partnerships in order to meet programme schedule</li><li>Managing product and task ownership including the generation of robust design files to demonstrate due diligence</li><li>Ensuring that best practice is followed to achieve maximum levels of safety, quality and efficiency</li><li>Supporting Procurement, Manufacturing and Services Teams throughout product lifecycle</li></ul><br><br><b>Fuel your passion</b><br><br>To be successful in this role you will:<br> <br><ul><li>Have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with proven experience in Engineering/Technology)</li><li>Have proven additional experience in Mechanical Component, Specific Subsea and or Offshore design experience</li><li>Have good language and communication skills in both Norwegian and English</li><li>Have a good understanding of hazardous area (ATEX, IECEx) requirements and component selection</li><li>Have extensive experience and knowledge of the design and operation of Hydraulic Control Systems</li><li>Have a continuous improvement mind-set</li><li>Have experience of working in a global team</li><li>Have sound computer base knowledge (MS Word/Excel/Outlook/CAD)</li></ul><br><br><b>Work in a way that works for you</b><br><br>We recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
