Come join the Tanzu Build Service team at VMware and help us build the next generation of tools for creating container images at-scale for the world’s largest enterprises utilizing open source technologies. Customers struggle to build containers from source code ground up. It is a challenge to maintain and secure container images. Tanzu Build Service helps customers build, maintain, update portable OCI images and helps boost security and reduce risk from introducing CVEs. In this role you will: Contribute to the kpack OSS project and Tanzu Build Service product (mostly in Golang) Assist in the design and development of new features and improvements. Participate in the CNCF Buildpacks community Attending open working groups Triaging incoming issues and feature requests Providing help and guidance to users, customers and new contributors Build automation to ensure that customers are always utilizing the latest patched software. Be a steward of code quality, ensuring a high standards of readability, maintainability, security, and performance. Desired Skills: You have a passion for leveraging Open Source technologies.
