Warehouse & Yard Associate (NAL) - Leduc, AB

<b>Role Summary:</b><br><br>Experienced warehouse worker operating in a diverse, fast paced indoor/outdoor environment, supporting multiple internal and external customers for Baker Hughes. Special focus on physical inventory/asset counts and root cause analysis for process improvement and efficiency. Knowledge of inventory management and strong computer skills a must. Warehouse & Yard Associate is a fulltime position and reports to the Warehouse & Yard Manager/Supervisor.<br><br><b>Essential Responsibilities:</b><br><br><ul><li>Extensive Forklift duties (Counterbalance, PIT, Combi-Lift)</li><li>Regular computer work (SAP, Excel, Email via Outlook)</li><li>Frequent shipping and receiving including crating, packaging and palletizing materials for shipment</li><li>Overhead crane duties</li><li>Maintain accurate inventory/equipment though transactions and product preservation</li><li>Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs</li><li>Perform regular compliance counts</li><li>Handles special projects, as assigned</li></ul><br><br><b>Qualifications/Requirements:</b><br><br><ul><li>High School Diploma or equivalent</li><li>3+ years of experience in industrial warehousing, forklift operation, inventory control and/or materials management</li><li>Counterbalance Forklift experience</li><li>Must be fluent in English</li><li>Computer proficiency - Excel & Outlook</li><li>Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 Ibs, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs</li></ul><br><br><b>Desired Characteristics:</b><br><br><ul><li>Strong interpersonal and leadership skills</li><li>Strong oral and written communication skills</li><li>Understanding of HS&E culture and requirements</li><li>Knowledge of SAP and related systems</li><li>Ability to multitask; switch priorities quickly and frequently</li><li>Overhead Crane experience</li><li>First Aid</li></ul><br><br><b>Locations: </b><br><br><b>Leduc, AB</b><br><br>As part of our commitment to the health and safety of our employees, customers and the communities in which we operate, this role requires full vaccination for COVID-19 prior to beginning work.<b>About Us:</b><br> With operations in over 120 countries, we provide better solutions for our customers and richer opportunities for our people.
