Patients Advocacy & Communications Manager Location: Estonia/ Latvia/ Lithuania (depends on the candidate’s location) Contract: full time Develop and implement patient engagement and advocacy opportunities in Baltic countries based on the therapeutic area needs. Develop clear Baltic priorities for external relations. Actively look to engage patient insights to therapeutic area plans and look for innovative ways to implement care solutions for patients and their caregivers. Develop and implement strategic communication and stakeholder engagement plans in support of business objectives to increase our footprint, drive growth, and promote and protect our reputation. Develop and implement internal strategic communication activities aligned with the Area Director and the Baltic Leadership team. The responsibilities & the impact YOU will have: Develop and implement communications campaigns and strategies and monitor their success Develop and maintains interactions with patient organisations and key external stakeholder groups for different projects that can contribute to better health outcomes including patient’s access to the innovative medicines. Assists in establishment of partnerships and solutions that will improve access of patients to new innovative treatments, in line with company plans and rules by exploring new space and opportunities within healthcare environment. Executes engagement plans for local patient and other advocacy groups/ associations Implements patient centric activities including patients’ solutions and services like adherence, compliance, educational programs linked with their business objectives Ensures Janssen is perceived as a trusted partner for patient groups and society by delivering valuable solutions, which improves the health Guides participation of Baltic teams in advocacy networks and projects for Baltic countries Assists in maintenance and development of effective relationships and dialogue with selected stakeholders, KOLs and other health care decision makers. Executes activities in support of therapeutic areas through projects developed in conjunction with other functions of the company to improve patients health outcomes. Develops and executes internal strategic communication & engagement activities. Qualifications We would love to hear from YOU, if you have: Experience in working with communications and/or public relations Successful track record in project management and change management. University education Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to build and maintain close relationships with external partners Fluent English knowledge of both spoken and written Native local speaker (Lithuania, Latvian or Estonian) Communicativeness, positive mindset and proactivity Proven teamwork and collaboration skills, with a demonstrated ability to interact and influence all levels of business Ability to work under time pressure and to work in situations with levels of ambiguity with independence Experience in understanding complex healthcare industry topics is a benefit This is what awaits YOU at J&J: An opportunity to be part of a global market leader. For this position we are offering competitive salaries in all three Baltic Countries starting annual gross salaries at 49 000 EUR in Latvia & Estonia and 57 000 EUR in Lithuania (difference driven by local taxation). Salaries can be negotiated based on your skills, qualifications and experience.
